Step 1: 

First, make sure you have less than five video files to send us. If you have more than five, please click HERE


Step 2: 

Make sure none of those video files are longer than five minutes long. If any of the files are more than five minutes long, please click HERE.


Step 3: 

Once you have determined these to be true, the next step is to open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and go to


Please Note: If you do not have a YouTube account, you will need to create one for this process to work correctly. If you do not wish to create a YouTube account, please click HERE.


If you need to sign in to your YouTube account, please do so now.


Step 4: 

On the top right of your screen, you will see a button which says "Upload". If you do not see this button, please sign into your account and try again. 


If you know how to upload a video to youtube, please skip ahead to Step 7.


Step 5: 

You will be forwarded to a page which has a large arrow pointing upwards. You want to double click on that arrow. It will open your computer's File Explorer or My Computer File


Step 6: 

You want to search through your computer until you find your video clip you wish to send us. Left click on the video file once to highlight it. Then click "Open". YouTube will then start uploading your file. 


Step 7: 

This step is VERY important so pay attention: 

On the right side of your screen, you will see a dropdown menu which should read "Public" at the moment. If you left click on this dropdown menu, you should find there are four options:

Public, Unlisted, Private, and Scheduled.


Left click on "Unlisted". 


Step 8: 

When your video file is done uploading and processing (this may take a few moments), you want to click on the video you just uploaded. It should pop open your video in a new window. 


Step 9: 

On the top of your screen, you will see the website URL of your video. It should look something like this:

Step 10: 

You will need to highlight this URL. To do this, simply triple click on the URL with your left mouse button.

Step 11: 

Next, right click once on the highlighted URL and left click the "Copy" option which appears. You can also use the keyboard shortcut, CTRL-C.


Step 12:

Open your email account and create a new message with the recipient being and the subject line being "Video Attached". 

Step 13: 

Paste the video URL into the email body. To do this you can right click anywhere in the message area of the email and left click on the "Paste" option which appears. You can also use the keyboard shortcut CTRL-V. 


Step 14: 

Send the email. 


Please Note: If you have more than one video you are sending, you will need to repeat steps 4 through 14 for EACH video file since we would prefer to only receive one URL per email message.
